NAME: methane
FORMULA: CH4
AUTHOR(YEAR): LucchesiniGozzini(2007)
T: 294K
λ: 838.180-846.696nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: A. Lucchesini and S. Gozzini,, "Methane diode laser overtone spectroscopy at 840 nm,", J. Quant. Spectrosc. Radiat. Transfer 103, 209-216 (2007); DOI: 10.1016/j.jqsrt.2006.02.056
COMMENTS: By diode laser wavelength modulation spectroscopy with high resolving power (λ/Δλ ≈ 107) and the aid of a 30 m total pathlength multipass Herriott-type measurement cell, 48 CH4 absorption lines have been detected around 11 900 cm-1 and their positions measured within 0.01 cm-1 which presumably belong to the combination overtone ν1 + 3ν3 ro-vibrational band
